Bloom!

The creative process is messy. Teacher/writer prep in-action.

The skyrocketing pollen count has me in her grip. Or is pollen a he? Perhaps a they?

All I can tell you is that I am tired and chilled, and I get why Liz had to sleep in yesterday, as the pollen count took her down first.

Comma, comma, comma. We are not down. We are just skimming the surface, not digging too deep because our sinuses are drowning in pollen. While the birds are chirping their happiness out as the temperatures soar. Some buds still hold themselves closed tightly but others have sprung into bloom.

Bloom!

I felt like I was blooming while teaching writing these last 3 Wednesday nights. Perhaps that’s also why I am tired today. It was something to reach for this new goal. It was exhausting and fun, tiring and anxiety-making, a storm that ended in me really enjoying teaching 3 people how I make boxes for my creative self to show up in.

Whoosh: that is one long sentence.

And that’s all I have for you today. A smile about teaching, a gladness that I’ll be teaching this class in a drop-in version in April (Wednesday April 3rd & 17th; I’ll update my website next week for sign-ups), and a pollen count tale. I hope you are all well. I’ve love to hear from you.
